If you indicated on your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) that you are a Veteran of the U.S. Armed Services and your your Veteran status information has been requested as part of the verification process, then you need to read the Veterans Comment form.

All applications for Federal Student Aid are processed through the U.S. Department of Education to verify defaulted loan borrowers. Default refers to unpaid federal student loans. If your SAR (Student Aid Report) indicates that you are in default on a student loan, then you need to read the Loan Default Comment form and take the appropriate actions to resolve this default.
